What you may store in pinning, and what we do about content that breaks the rules.

One-line summary: everything you put into pinning is private to your own account — there is no feed, no public profile and no way for another user to see it. Private does not mean anything goes: sourcing, sales and unlawful material are still prohibited, and we will remove them.
1. There are no public posts
pinning has no community surface. There is no feed, no comment section, no profile page and no vendor directory. The member marketplace and the vendor reviews that earlier versions of this policy described were removed from both the app and the website and are not coming back.
Every row you create — cycles, pin logs, vials, meals, photos, bloodwork — is readable only by your own account, enforced in the database with row-level security rather than by application code. We do not read your entries, and no other user can.
2. What this policy still covers
It covers everything you submit to us: the entries and files stored under your account, and anything you send by email or through the contact form. It supplements our Terms of Service and forms part of the agreement you accept when you create an account.
3. Prohibited content
Even in a private log, the following is not permitted and will be removed:
- Sourcing and sales — offering, brokering, advertising or soliciting the sale of any pharmaceutical or research chemical, whether to us or through us
- Material that is unlawful where you are, or unlawful in Germany
- Personal data of other people uploaded without a basis for doing so — including photographs and medical records that are not yours
- Content sexualising minors, or any content involving a person under 18
- Malware, or attempts to use storage as a distribution channel
- Material that infringes someone else's copyright or trade marks
4. Age
pinning is for adults. You must be at least 18. Accounts we identify as belonging to a minor are closed and their data deleted.
5. How to report something, and what we do
Because nothing is public, there is nothing to flag from a feed. Reports reach us by email at hello@pinning.info, and urgent matters — prohibited imagery, an account you believe belongs to a minor, a credible threat — should be sent there with "urgent" in the subject line.
We acknowledge reports without undue delay, act on the ones that are substantiated, and tell you the outcome. Where we remove content or suspend an account, we tell the account holder what was removed and why, so the decision can be contested by reply. Accounts used for sourcing or sales may be terminated without prior notice, and we may report unlawful content to the competent authorities.
6. Your responsibility
By storing content in pinning you confirm it is yours, truthful, and lawful where you are. You grant us the limited licence described in our Terms to host and process it solely to run the service — nothing else. You remain responsible for what you store.
